Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Ask Nexora platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using Ask Nexora on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the dashboard.

Ask Nexora provides a platform for creating AI-powered assistant experiences using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The platform allows you to upload knowledge base documents, connect AI providers, configure widget behaviour, and deploy assistants across web, messaging, and voice channels.

The Service is provided free of charge. AI features require you to connect your own third-party AI provider API key; without one, the platform operates as a messaging inbox where your team answers conversations manually.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

You must create an account to use the platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You may not impersonate another person or create an account on behalf of someone else without authorisation.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at support@asknexora.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

Ask Nexora is free to use. There are no subscription fees, seat fees, or per-conversation charges, and no credit card is required at any point.

To enable AI responses you connect your own API key from a supported AI provider. Any usage costs are billed to you directly by that provider under their pricing and terms — Ask Nexora does not resell, mark up, or take a share of those costs.

If you do not connect an API key, or your provider key becomes invalid or runs out of credit, the platform continues to operate in messaging mode and conversations remain available for your team to answer manually.

Because the Service is provided at no cost, we may apply reasonable technical limits to protect platform stability, and we will give reasonable notice before introducing any paid component.

You may use Ask Nexora only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

You must not use the platform to generate, store, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or violates the rights of any third party.

You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform in ways not permitted by these terms.

You must not use the platform to build applications that violate the terms of service of any connected AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this acceptable use policy without prior notice.

You retain full ownership of the documents, URLs, conversation configurations, and other content you upload to the platform.

By uploading content, you grant Ask Nexora a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and index that content solely to provide the Service to you.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload the content and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

We do not use your content to train our own models or make it available to other users.

When you connect a third-party AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq, Mistral, xAI, DeepSeek), your messages and knowledge base context are sent to that provider's API.

You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of any AI provider you connect, including any usage policies regarding specific content types.

Ask Nexora is not responsible for the output produced by third-party AI models. AI-generated responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that requires review before use in critical applications.

API keys you provide are stored in encrypted form. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure and rotating them if compromised.

Ask Nexora and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the platform, including software, designs, trademarks, and documentation.

These terms do not grant you any right to use Ask Nexora's trademarks, logos, or brand assets without prior written permission.

The Service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ask Nexora shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the three months preceding the claim (if any) or USD 100.

You may close your account at any time from the account settings. Upon closure, your knowledge base content and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including sections on intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
